Percolate is a cute little café tucked away at the bottom of an HDB in Singapore’s East.
The Ambience, Service and Staff
Nestled away in Bedok, this unpretentious little coffee shop is always full. They have seating indoors, and out. I prefer the indoors, especially with the Singapore heat. Once you’re indoors and seated, their friendly staff are very helpful and attentive. You place your orders at the counter from their menu.
The Food
The café offers both Soy and Oat milks as dairy alternatives. We generally order a hot latte and an iced cappucino. The last time we were there, we also ordered one of their Peanut Butter Chocolate Banana teacakes.
They’re very quick with their orders which they bring out to the table. They have good, wholesome coffee that will give one their jolt of caffeine. The teacakes are very pleasant and are not too sweet.
The Price Point
A 5oz coffee is around $4.50, and the teacakes are around the $7 which are great value.
The Final Verdict
Percolate offers a chic little establishment for you to get your caffeine fix while meeting friends for a casual coffee before moving on elsewhere with other activities. It’s a great little café and if you’re in the area and feeling like a cuppa, this is a great place to visit.
