Ambience, Service and the Staff
Located along Middle Road and at the bottom of the G Hotel, 25 Degrees is a burger bar that opens out onto the street. It’s simple tiled exterior flows into the interior, which has plenty of natural light and fresh air, giving it an ideal vibe to catch-up casually with friends.
We’d called ahead and made reservations for lunch on a Sunday morning. We were a party of 8 and were quickly seated by the staff who were friendly and efficient.
The Food
For our party of 8, our order went around a selection of the burgers and the hot dogs with the sides of truffle fries, onion rings and curly fries. Food comes out here quickly, arriving at the table within 10 minutes.
The portion sizes are generous without being overwhelming, and are well presented.
Our recommendation is the Sonoran hot dog topped with garlic aioli and loaded with bacon, beans, cheese, jalapenos and caramelized onions. It is loaded with taste!
They also have an all-day breakfast option here, which we didn’t try out. Also on offer are salads, pancakes, waffles, french toast and a small selection of desserts.
The Price Point
Their burgers are priced at around $14 to $18 each, with sides being priced around $8. This makes ordering really simple. A burger meal here is about $25 to $30 per person, which is slightly pricey, but given the location and calibre of the restaurant, you’d take it without complaining.
The Final Verdict
25 Degrees offer a nice upmarket feel in a central part of Singapore. They offer both an air conditioned environment as well as an outdoor area to suit your taste and the weather. This is a great place to meet up for a casual bite and drinks with friends.
